The Princess Bride is hands-down one of the cutest, funniest movies I've ever seen. Great cast (the role of the princess bride, Buttercup, went to Robin Wright---Jenny in Forrest Gump, and do wait for Billy Crystal's appearance as Miracle Max), great script, great banter, all fun, fun, fun! Cary Elwes (Robin Hood, Men in Tights) is fantastic for the role, especially with his smartass grin---it's like he has some sort of private joke going in his head.
Small trivia: Pro-wrestler Andre the Giant who played the giant, natch, wrestled in Araneta Coliseum back in the very late 70s or early 80s (yes, I'm THAT old), and I was able to shake his hand! He was very kind to fans, especially to kids.
