Sharkteeth usually goes with me to the hair salon, and the stylists are fond of her and always compliment her cuteness (it's a salon---shallowness is in the list of requirements). When we went there today, TheHusband followed us after having his fill of "manly" stuff from the hardware. Upon entering the salon and calling Sharkteeth, the stylists all had a moment of clarity and said in unison: "Ahhh...sa kanya pala nagmana" [Ohhh, she got her looks from him].
Ha! Ha! That made me smile...I wonder if the TheHusband heard.

ReplyDeleteWell, it's true. Sheng, no, she didn't get any of her features from me...as in none. Well, siguro my chin. While she got most of TheHusband's looks, she got my lip (not the anatomical kind)---you guys should hear the banter we have at home---maiiyak ang pikon. Hahaha. Shakteeth knows that she looks like her father---how could she not know when everybody who sees them together says so.
