Hellooowww!!!

Hellooooowwww!  How are you all? I hope you all had a restful weekend. Especially all laborers like me. You know, if there is one holiday that I always celebrate (by not working), it is Labor Day. 'Cause not doing so seems sadly ironic.

It was TheHusband's birthday last weekend, and we were supposed to go to Bohol for some R&R, but apparently, Oceanjet's Bohol schedule has been moved to late afternoon and it's not worth going there paying for a whole day of hotel accommodation yet arriving early in the evening. We decided to go to Siquijor instead.

BUT WAIT, it ain't over till it's over!

The day before our scheduled trip to Siquijor, we watched Avengers: The Age of Ultron. *Nakatulog ako! Hahaha! Thandercatz na.* Anyhoo, after watching, biglang nagyaya sa Cebu si TheHusband. Sus, naloka naman ako sa pagmamadaling mag-empake kasi 10 pm ang ship going to Cebu.

We got to the pier on time, and it was a fairly restful trip. Nakatulog ako ng mahimbing, despite the light snoring (not me!!!), waking up refreshed and energized. We didn't do much sa Cebu, mostly eating and malling lang. TheHusband's idea, not mine. So exciting, right? Hehehehe. Sa sobrang exciting, we didn't even take pictures anymore. Then again, super tamad talaga akong mag-take ng pictures pag vacations. Oh, we went to Rustan's. I hate going there. So many pretty stuff. Panira ng goals. Royal Albert, Lenox, Kitchen Aide, pretty shoes, clothes, and accessories, pretty everything! I tried Tory Burch's lipstick. Ang ganda! It's sheer, and all the colors are flattering, although truth be told, una akong na-attract sa packaging -- it's orange with shiny gold fretwork, daresay classy. Still debating if I should get one. By the way, there's an outlet shop in Lahug -- parang Japan Home/Daiso, but American products. They have various kitchen and bathroom products, toiletries, affordable Tommy, Lacoste, Abercrombie, Old Navy, and Gap clothing and flip-flops as well athletic wear by Nike, Adidas, etc. No Lululemon though.

We were eating lunch AA BBQ during the MayPac fight. Happy with the food, disappointed with the fight. I was really hoping Pacquiao would win. But no. Oh well.

Our trip back was equally relaxing. After disembarking around 4 am, we headed to my favorite lugawan near the pier. I like their arroz caldo and goto so much. We didn't go to Siquijor anymore for reasons TMI and otherwise. Next time.

Anyhoo, I still haven't posted my Baguio finds. I'll try bukas. Try lang. Busy-busy-han kasi. I'm trying to get back in shape and I do brisk walking with my dear doggie early in the morning. If you'd notice in my Instagram feed, there is a lot (to the point of exhausting repetition) of sunrise pictures. I can't help it. I love sunrise. I love the warmth of the morning sun. I love wading knee deep into the water. TheDog worries a lot when I do. He's afraid of the water, see, and always treats it with suspicion, never straying more than two feet from the edge. There's always visible relief on TheDog's face whenever I walk back to the shore. We usually go to the wet market after, buying veggies, fresh fish, and flowers. I like bringing TheDog with me -- he loves the outdoors and basks in the attention of humans. He totally abhors other dogs (unless they're female and are in heat), but loves humans with a passion. Show him a little kindness, a little belly rub, call his name gently, and he'll pledge eternal loyalty and love. Frighten him with a stick and you can forget about passing in front of our house ever. Better start looking for another route because he never forgets cruelty. Here are some of the pictures.

Me: I'm reading an article. It says that coffee works well against Alzheimer's.
Madear: Really? I'm going to drink coffee then. Kapeng barako? I'm getting so forgetful. What's your name, by the way?

Hahahaha!
