Yesterday was my last day in _ _ _. It has been 10 years. I can't say that I've been "emancipated" 'cause I'm not. And I'm sure, at one point or another, there'd be buyer's remorse, but for now, I'm just so happy.
it takes a while to sort out the dominant emotion. eventually the 'moving-on' process sets it. it helps when you're too busy to think of anything else though. so, how are you settling in your new territory?
onyxx, told y'all there'd be buyers remorse! and there it is! haha! setting overtime weariness aside, things are so much fun! kinda reminds me when the ce group was just starting back in '97.
rico-n-jane, I didn't know that, your middle name. Have you noticed that it rhymes with your surname and gives it a nice "character actor" sound to it. corics, don't let other people define your happiness and contentment in your job...not your group mates, supervisor, team leader, or group head (meron na ba? good luck!). On second thought, some of the aforementioned people are the ones who decide whether to give you an increase or not. So there, I'm just really blabbering on. Good luck---in work and in other things more important.
Corics, re: increase ng sweldo, ang masasabi ko lang, NEVER SAY DIE! Who knows...
You should have tried showbiz. I don't think it would be too different from where you are now---intrigues abound, jealousy, sex/drugs/rock and roll, kings/queens, gossip---gawd, I miss _ _ _!
