Happy Seventh Birthday, Sharkteeth!

Seven years ago. Seems like yesterday. When I first saw you, my heart did not immediately leap out in joy or whatever ecstasy they say moms feel when they first see their newborn---well, only because I was so surprised with the full mop of jet-black hair capping your head, and my first thought was, "are newborns supposed to be this hairy?" Then I was smitten---forever. I have so many things to say, so many memories to recount to you, and I'll tell you, and only you. Happy birthday, anak. I love you! So much!
