Product Review: Splash's Baby Spa VCO Skin Protecting Liquid Powder

Every so often, I'd be posting a product review, mostly about products that I've tried and liked. I don't usually rant about products. Criticize? Yes! Rant? No! Well, except for one incident when I fired up an e-mail to Nestle for changing Cerelac's name to something very generic sounding, so generic sounding that I can't even remember; they changed it back to Cerelac, by the way, and I'd like to think that it's because of the e-mail I sent. I digress! I'd like to emphasize that the product reviews I'm going to do are unpaid and unsolicited (why, in heaven's name, would they ask me for a product review in the first place? Haha!).

So, let's go on with it. My maiden review is for Splash's Baby Spa VCO Skin Protecting Liquid Powder. Whew! That's a mouthful! And the oxymoronic bit about liquid powder amuses me no end, but there really isn't any other way to call it, come to think of it. That aside, I find this liquid powder amazing! It goes on smooth and lotion-like and dries in about half a minute, and the skin feels like it has been powdered (well, it has been, hasn't it?) but without the white powder dust. Neither is there a greasy feeling that you'd expect with virgin coconut oil. I've read about the launching in Daphne Oseña's Flickr but forgot about it. I saw one earlier when Sharkteeth and I went grocery shopping, and I bought one for her. I've tried on the three variants, but I like Bundle of Joy the most! It wasn't indicated on the box (which I hope they would do away with; it's a waste of paper!), but I think the fragrance mentioned is lavender-based and very relaxing. It's a bit expensive though---a bit more than 100 pesos for 100 grams. Overall, I love it. And Sharkteeth would have to wait for her tube, as this one? This one's a definite keeper, and it's mine, baby!

Splash doesn't have an online store, but their products are widely available at most department stores (Landmark, SM, Rustan's, etc) in the Philippines. Good luck!
